Founded by Australian designer Jeremy Hershan, is inspired by the heyday of travel – when hopping on a ship, train or plane was a momentous occasion. With his vast experience working for European luxury brands, Hershanbrings his expertise to his own label in order to create heirloom-level goods.
Based on a classic workwear trouser, the Utility Jean uses a straight full-leg cut which is constructed from Japanese selvedge denim. The ecru fabric has a slightly slubby texture to it, adding an extra level of detail which is easily overlooked but appreciated by those who notice. Polished brass hardware adds a touch of shine which will age and patina over time–much like the denim itself – to create a unique pair of trousers to each owner.
